The world renowned pottery belonging to the brand of Thomas China has its origin in Bavaria 1879. The proprietor of the pottery group was Thomas Rosenthal who had initially started the business with Federick. In 1950 Philip Rosenthal Jr took over the enterprise and gave it a whole new direction.
